Pricing for ISF Calibrations

Even though most of our calibrations are performed here in Texas, we will travel almost anywhere if you don't have a suitable calibration technician in your area.

After the initial calibration of the display, touch up adjustments should be performed every 6 to 12 month or when you feel they may be required. This will all depend on the usage of the display.

Cost of a Basic ISF Calibration is: $245.00 + $45.00 each hour of travel past the first hour + sales tax.
A Basic ISF Calibration includes adjustment of Scan Velocity Modulation and electrical focus, touch up of convergence and calibration of color temperature to 6500K.

Below you will find a break down of fees for more complete calibrations by types of displays starting with the basic ISF Calibration fee. Complete calibrations include items such as optical re-focusing, which will require re-convergence for all screen sizes, minimizing overscan, coating the inside of the light box, lens striping, back light installation and so on and are charged at $80.00 per hour + parts and materials if any + sales tax.

Calibrating a display properly is sometimes more of an art then anything else and the more I calibrate a certain line (manufacturer) the more ways I find to make the picture look better or make the set easier to operate.

In other words, it is a pretty steep learning curve beyond the very basics of an ISF calibration and is the reason that I am hesitant to calibrate displays from manufacturers that I have not calibrated before unless you are willing to pay a premium for the service.
